Syrus Con is a recording artist with seven years experience in creating music. Along with his career he has been blessed to work with extremely talented Shakari Nyte(Big Black Lincoln) and super creative and long time friend Justo producer of Century Records. Syrus' craft started when he was only 16 years old.Shy, at the same time eager to perform in front of large crowds he quickly went from being a novice to almost an expert and did exactly that, PERFOMED. In the time span of 10 months Syrus recorded a four song demo with another local artist by the name of Serious. Justo produced and posted the demo onto the Internet promoting and advertising through various links. In no time the demo recieved excellent response resulting in a demand for the trios music. Before a follow up could be made, Syrus' high school had a Christmas Show and sure enough he entered. Showin off his brand new skills along with Justo's unorthodoxed style beats he, dazzled the crowd. A month later Syrus' home town promoted a talent show for the most skilled in the community. Syrus and Serious again teamed together to try their best to impress this, time without the help of Justo's production but instead rhymin over an instrumental used by a mainstream artist in the music industry at that time. Unfortunately Syrus Con & Serious' talent was over-looked and were awarded second place leaving the audience in an up roar. Syrus went on to make solo tracks only in the goal to become an expert and find out if he could achieve success with solo songs. Two solo songs were released but not on the internet only on the streets were he gave copies of cassette tapes to as much people as possible hoping to spark a buzz. A buzz was created but only with a small portion of his home town. Mainly due to a low amount of tapes that were processed. Syrus stopped making music for people and future fans altogether. Only entertaining himself, friends and family as a hobbie. Years passed and Syrus got older and wiser studying the ins and outs of music itself. It was at that time when he began learning from mentor and older brother Shakari Nyte. Since 2002, Syrus has claimed that he is ready to be a STAR. Waiting for the right moment to unleash what he has been holding back for far too long. A very small dose of his extraordinary talent was heard along with the other artists of "Century" in 2005 summer when Century Records released its mixtape "MIXTAPE OF THE CENTURY". A cool 200 copies were pressed purposely and sold quickly with little to no effort.
