Professional guitarist, singer / songwriter, top Jazz musician – this is Joshua Boyd, one of New Zealand’s finest young musical talents.Specializing in guitar, Joshua recently graduated from The New Zealand School of Music in Jazz performance. In addition to his musical talent, Joshua has also completed a business management degree from which to spring board his career. Now age twenty-three, Joshua has an enormous depth of experience and skill, working as a professional musician for the last seven years.In addition to guitar and vocals, Joshua also plays trombone, drums, and bass, as can be heard on his recent demo recordings “Get up†and "Without strings." His work as a sideman is featured with top trumpter Geoff Culverwell in "In your own sweet way", and as a leader of his own jazz trio in "Billie’s Bounce".Joshua has recently finished playing guitar in show bands aboard two Carnival Cruise line ships and is currently working as a professional musician in Sydney, Australia.Joshua’s favourite styles of music are Jazz, Neo Soul, Blues, Funk, Gospel and HipHop.
