About Me

I'm all you need this year, BABY!!Hailin' from Do or Die Bed Sty, BKNY - gNoe Stryngz & tha god Dred Stylez are the workhorses for indie label 2 Da Head records. __Growing up on Madison st., born in wedlock #3 out of 8, tha young god witnessed everything from crack-induced poverty to the personal life of Bonny Franklin. __His father (having hustled his way to America from Jamaica) and his mother (after leaving Mobile, Alabama in the 60's) met at a fish market in Brooklyn, NYC._____Marrying shortly after, they bought a home in Crown Heights. During a season of economic hardship, they seperated and relocated to Bed Sty while dad tried to earn a living sailing the seas. __Spinning records from an early age and slightly touched by the death of Robert Nesta, music has always been an outlet and a source of comfort for tha young god. __Honing his skills in 309 park during the early 90's under the alias of T-god AKA "tha 4 bar assassin", he instantly gained lyrical noteriety and was rarely challenged in a cipher._____After a turbulent school life and an even more tumultuous street life, he hustled his way into college while remaining active in the street game. __A conspiracy plot by envious students eventually landed tha god back in the system facing ten years until. __A twist a fate had him released on probation and graduated the same semester._____Seeking a fresh start, gNoe Stryngz and the god Dred Stylez relocated to the Dallas metrolex in Texas. __Experimenting with the hip-hop scene there he became a member of the Round Table Clique and performed regularly throughtout the metroplex. __Irreconcilable differences caused the group to split into 3 factions seeking different directions in music, as well as life._____Sick of the constant transition, he decided to create his own pre-production facility where tha god was free to explore his creative limits. __Which brings us here.
