Fucking Hawk

Here comes the war

About Me

A tribal collective of drum-addicted noise freaks, The Fucking Hawk combines the afrobeat propulsion of a funk-infused rhythm section and clapping ensemble with spastic stutter guitars and damaged analog processing. Vocal improvisations are inspired by African civil war zones, apocalyptic capital city nightclubs, shanty-town bars, and the influence of hallucinogenic home-brewed alcohol. The Fucking Hawk strives for a performance/ritual in which the line between audience and musicians disintegrates, transporting all into a sweaty, thick-lidded zombie trance.
