My parents had exposed me and my brother, Salim to a broad spectrum of music that always had an expression of soul and social comment. This brought with it an open mindedness and love of all kinds of music, which eventually influenced both of us in our musical directions.There has always been both the conscious and subconscious connection with music.As a kid I knew that I'd really like to make music and my life co-exist. Over the years I began writing my oun tunes, I joined bands, hung out with and learned from musicians, gigs, busked with my guitar, and so on.In 2004 I embarked on a journey from Malaysia, my fathers roots, where the first album 'Caravan Trail' was put together with the help of great producers and musicians like Mike and Salim and a wealth of other excellent musicians, to take the whole project to Dublin, my mothers roots. This move has been a steep and wonderful learning curve a bringing together of life and sounds, my blessing and my roots:)It is reassuring in these times with many levels of imposed fear, designed to divide us that music is a place where we are strong in our positive humanity.Believing you enjoy music I hope you like the tunes above.
