Rotkäppchen plays live electronic dance music, combining laptop with the live sounds of drums, (bass) guitar and keyboard.
When playing live, Rotkäppchen plays its own songs as well as DJ-like live mixes - both with live drums.
In case there's no space/soundsystem/desire for live drums, Rotkäppchen also likes doing live laptop DJ sets - see below for a demo mix.

About Rotkäppchen :
Conceived in spring 2007 and born later in the year, it is the offspring of a pensive globetrotter and a German trespasser. It will be raised in a laissez-faire manner, sent on a journey of self-discovery without limits, and encouraged to explore and discover, try and experiment, fail and succeed. Also, it is given the best of both of its parents' cultures in the hope that it will combine them wisely.
Its favourite colour is red . By nature.

2) Here's our latest live DJ set - it's 2 hours long and we played it on the Soundwerk Airwaves show on German radio station CT in Feb 09 (there's a short German introduction but the rest is just music and an English interview in the second half). The tracklisting is in our blogs above.

4) The next 3 songs are live recordings from one of our gigs. It's not amazing quality but we've done our best and think it gives a good impression of what we sound like live. Just imagine more banging live drums and us two passionately jumping around/sweating/screaming etc :)
