For this day lord i thankyou,
another chance to be here,
blessed with my health
and thankful for the skills
you have gifted me with
oh i know im blessed
i have faced some trying times
over the years, that's for sure,
sometimes i felt worthless,
I realize now how silly that was of me,
silly to not see how graceious God has
been to me, anyway
I have fell short of your glory time and time
and time again, I've lied to myself and you Lord,
I left your side came back, left and came back again,
sometimes i would only talk to you when i needed you,
wonder why you love me so much,
I know i dont deserve your endless blessings,
But lord you stick with me anyway, and i'm thankful,
even for the ruff times you brought me threw,
when i did'nt have the courage you were there,
when i did'nt believe in me you did,
Our father whom art in heaven,
It was your energy and love,
that got me by.
