About The Middle Eight...
The Middle Eight first came together in November ’05 under the auspices of Dumfries & Galloway Arts Association’s annual Burnsong project, where songwriters from varied backgrounds are brought together for a week of collaborative writing. 14 months after this first writing week, the 28 or so songs were dusted off for 6-date Tune Up tour of Scotland. Revisiting the songs proved highly enjoyable for The Eight, and plans are currently being laid for more live shows, more writing and recording.See the "Top Friends" list for links to (nearly all) the individual members' MySpace sites.--------
