XTRAORDINARY

XTRAORDINARY is the melting of opposites into a multi-faceted single unit; glamorous but earthy, raw but expressive, sexy but tough, .looking heavenwards but with its feet firmly planted on the ground, 100% Austrian but with a global musical approach. As the famous quote goes, ‘after all, it’s simply rock and roll’. Yet these songs are never simple. The band itself classifies their musical style as ‘Open-top rock’. After hearing a few bars of the music it is clear what the band mean, as you, the listener, have the sudden overpowering urge to hit the road, put the roof down and drive through your favourite bit of countryside singing along to XTRAORDINARY (probably wrongly) at the top of your voice. ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------The voice of Jasmin is central to the way the band works. She is amazingly versatile and seems to swap gracefully and without any effort from rage to happiness and hope to vulnerability. The singer herself describes her way of bringing these songs to life as a ‘soul strip tease’.
