Midwest... Ohio... Cleveland city, is the setting for the MC Vyle Che. Raised on insanity through Underground Midwest Rap, Raised on the confusion and violence through street rap, and Raised on the love and purity of true hip hop.
Vyle Che began writing and performing his own material in 2003, and found a new way to express himself through song. Wanting to record a song and eventually an album, Vyle set out to find producers for the sound he wanted to bring to life. Many producers and episodes later, Vyle eventually worked with DJ Bloodrush and saw progression in his music. Vyle and Bloodrush then founded Zurrektion records in 2004, releasing two Bloodrush produced singles entitled 2nd Chance and Cry Wolf. Vyle eventually parted ways with Bloodrush and continued "running" Zurrektion Records. Soon after in 2005/ early 2006 he released his very first album The Vagabond EP. The Vagabond EP was Vyle's first serious project and thus introduced Vyle Che into the world of music and hip hop. The music was Produced by Damian, who resided in the California area. The lyrics on this album have a bleak mood and gives the ominous feeling of things to come, the crumbling of society itself. The EP featured text book hip hop tracks as well as Latin Style hip hop beats, and it featured Detroit MC The R.O.C (House of Krazees, AKA Sol46) on a track called "Half Da Skillz". The EP was well recieved by locals and hardcore Midwest fans throughout the Net. It was released for a limited time and is now a rare item.
Vyle Che, busy with working out his vision of his very own label and career, began work on a Mixtape for promotional use. He himself would perform, record and mix the Tape in The Pillow Room (Che's Studio). Midway through the recording Vyle met up with an MC by the name of Eye-Rek-shon, a producer/artist. The Two recorded "One Nation" and things hit off from there. Eye-Rek-Shon was then interested in becoming a part of Zurrektion Records, and shortly indeed became a part. Vyle Che did 12 of the 21 tracks solo on the CD, and 5 with Eye-Rekshon. The Mixtape also features solo tracks from Vyle Ches inner circle, Eye-Rekshon, Lelo, and Young B. The CD now named The Vagabond Mixtape Volume Zero, was released in early September 2006, with 21 tracks total.
Vyle, getting a taste of constructing his own label, felt it was time to put Zurrektion Records on hold.
" A select few thought I couldn't do it, and you never tell me I can't do something cause I will just prove your ass wrong. It's not the right time for me to be running a label and shit, Zurrektion will always be with me and its not dead, just in hibernation. I want to completely focus on myself, and give everything I have to my career. One day Zurrektion might come back, when the time is right. " - Vyle Che
Still feeling the Volume Zero Mixtape, Vyle decided it was time for a complete solo look into the mind of Vyle Che in Mixtape format. Not even weeks later than the Volume Zero release, Vyle began working on his next Mixtape entitled "The Vagabond Mixtape Vol.1", and eventually released it in December of 2006. The Mixtape is a personal journey of Vyle's, The 21 track mixtape covers topics such as mentality, politics, lyricism, horror, street, love and violence.
On July 24th 2007, Vyle Che released a small Summer Mixtape with 7 Tracks. The Mixtape brought listeners up to date on the work of Vyle Che. Not many tracks were recorded compared to the earlier tapes because Vyle Che was hard at work on his upcoming debut LP, which will be written, recorded, produced, engineered and mixed by himself. The Mixtape featured D. Jones, an MC out of Youngstown OH, who has done shows with Vyle Che in Toledo OH in the past. The Mixtape also features a exclusive track, which is the first ever track that Vyle Che produced, giving a sneak peek into the next project.
Coming this Fall 2007.. is the groundbreaking Solo LP by Vyle Che. This album will be Vyle's first Originally Produced LP, featuring production from Vyle Che and guest appearances by The R.O.C and others that are yet to be announced.
