The Golden Ratio was formed in October 06 as the result of a few Leeds musicians bringing together their unique sounds as a platform for Bristol born singer Jamileh Lee's voice.
Bob Birch, Dave Pearson and Joe Love had parallel experiences playing in Leeds bands and clubs but decided to combine energies for this unique opportunity.
The music is a deep hue of organic, shifting, aching, beautiful, deep and delicate colour. We will have some recorded and rehearsed tracks up soon, but in the meantime have a listen to the above rough mini disc recorded jams.
Previous/other bands include Papadub, Helen, Chemical Dub Theory, Dolores, The New Mastersounds, Gobi Wolves, Se Fire and Number Crunchers.
