The Erratics were born in the bleak mid winter of 2005.
A time when image was king and every nobody was somehow suddenly somebody. Fifteen minutes had been extended through spin offs and cash ins and even if the revolution was not being televised, everything else was. The musical landscape had been left battered and bruised by one too many angular left hooks and 80's revivalists.
They retreated and regrouped.Within a week of their return in February 2007, they had baggsied number one in Channel 4's top 100 unsigned bands chart. "A triumph for substance over style", one commentator commented giddily , "This is pop music with real heart" asided another.
So here they are…The Erratics.
A pop band with gravitas, lyrics to die for and an image that needs work. The nuances of everyday observed and noted whilst its soundtrack swirls and snaps at your heels before soaring onwards to dizzying heights.
