evolution theory

It all started when Adriaan and Simon where talking about starting a band cause they loved bands like Blink 182, Iron Maiden, Green day and many others. Adriaan talked to Pieter about it and he wanted a band too. So while we were playing ping-pong, we asked Siebrand to be our drummer. He agreed so the next day Adriaan went to buy his very first guitar! It took a few months before Pieter and Simon were allowed to buy there guitar but by the end of 2005 we had all of our gear and started rehearsing in Siebrand's bedroom, tiny as it was. Our first bandname was 'Foresight', wich later turned into 'Evolution Theory'. We started playing simple songs that weren't so simple at the time like: '7 nation army', 'Holiday' and 'Still Waiting'. We started writing our own songs, but we didn't think they were very good so we haven't played those songs since a long time, 'Blank Pages' was the only song that survived. Our first "show" in May was almost a complete disaster cause we were all very nervous! Then the band took it on slow untill we started to write new songs around october. We were listening to other bands and every time we heard a good song we were given the will to write one of our own! To bad not always a good song was a result, but many were! Since the days we wrote songs like 'That Little Boy' and 'Pink Elephant', songs you will surely hear some day, the band started to believe in themselfs and many new songs came out of the twisted little minds of Adriaan and Simon. Around January we gave 3 show in Adriaan's attic, our new rehearsing spot. with the profit we made with those shows we went to a recording studio and recorded our first demo! We do our best to make non of our songs look like eachother and make the melodies as catchy as can be! Greetings by Adriaan, Pieter, Siebrand and Simon aka EVOLUTION THEORY!!!
