Fulvio Muzio was born and grew up in Milan, Italy. In the beginnings, as a member of the Italian cult band Decibel he contributed to the bursting of punk and new wave rock into Italy. Later on he composed the music of Contessa, an Italian breakthrough of the eighties, deeply inspired by Kurt Weil’s music and German cabaret. Then he earned an M.D. degree and moved to the US where he worked as a doctor for a few years. In recent times his music interests are focused on the therapeutic effects of musical emotions.
