WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL SITE FOR "HAMMER OF FATE"
The classic metal band HAMMER OF FATE was originally founded by guitarist Eric Dennis and drummer Donny Ferguson in April of 2008. Eric wrote and recorded 25 original songs between 2007 and 2008. Auditions for a singer and bass player did not find serious professional musicians who fit the band's style and work ethic for rehearsing. By July of 2008, Donny Ferguson left HAMMER OF FATE to join another band and Eric continued searching for musicians to complete the lineup of HAMMER OF FATE.
In January 2009, Eric reconnected with a talented bass player (Joel Benton) that he'd met in the fall of 2008 on a musicians finder service online (Bandmix.com). It just so happened that Joel's friend and drummer, Steve Clark had just moved back to Georgia from Texas. Joel and Steve joined HAMMER OF FATE and auditions for a singer began. HAMMER OF FATE is intensely rehearsing original songs in preparation for live performances in the summer of 2009. The band is currently seeking a booking agent at this time. Anyone who knows a booking agent should contact Eric immediately.
