About Me
I am a 2006 graduate of Wichita Heights (rep'n it to the fullest). I played football, ran track, and was writer/photo-editor for our school publication. My senior football season was ended prematurely by injury, so I decided to try and continue running track on the next level. In 2005, I was the City League runner-up in the triple jump and the first leg on our 4x1, which finished 2nd in our Region and made it to the state finals.I came back in 2006 as the only returning member of the 4x1 and we managed to repeat for Heights as City League Champions. We went on to win our Region and once more, qualify for state.I left a pretty decent legacy at Heights, but after graduation, I had to start a new one...I am one year removed, from attending Barton County CC where I walked-on with the track team. Over my two years there, I started making the hard transition from being a jumper/sprinter, to becoming a mid-distance runner.I have to say all my hard work payed off, because I was on full scholarship and the anchor leg of our Indoor Regional Champion 4x8 relay team.In the classroom, I just earned my associates degree in the journalism field. I figure, a career in the field can be an opportunity to stay close to sports, even when my athletic clock runs out.Last September, I began the latest chapter of my life at McPherson College. I had choices ahead of the Bulldogs, but they came at me the hardest. So, I had to go with the school that showed the most interest in me. I'm majoring in Communications here and attempting to earn all-conference honors on the track. I have already set the school's 300m record and was lead leg on the school's fastest 4x4 in 5years. New Coach, New Attitude, New Tradition. Lets get it...I got my layout at CleanupMyspace.com | Obama Layouts
