About Me

Kathy Dunn Hamrick Dance Company (KDHDC) is a non-profit, collaborative contemporary dance company that presents an evolving repertory of original modern dance works designed to engage audiences on a meaningful level. The company has received both critical and popular acclaim and consistently enjoys large audiences in its hometown of Austin. It has accumulated numerous awards and recognitions including “Top Ten Dance Events” by the Austin Chronicle, “Best of Arts” by the Austin American-Statesman, and “Outstanding Dance Concert” by the Austin Critics Table. The company also tours and has performed throughout Texas as well as in Toronto, Chicago, New York and San Francisco.
