About Me

Chidelu (Chi-Chi E.) Enigwe

Chi-Chi E. moved to Philadelphia from her hometown, Minneapolis, at a young age. The air of creativity and art in Philadelphia nurtured Chi-Chi E's affinity for style and fashion. She began modeling at the age of twelve. By 2003, Chi-Chi E. stepped off the runway and journeyed behind the scenes. She embarked on creating her own clothing line, Vintique. A fine mixture of vintage and unique, Chi-Chi E applies her personality to her line of gowns, ready to wear sportswear, swimwear, handbags and hand knit scarves. Her pieces have been featured in Conde Nast Magazine, and Zinc, amongst other publications, primarily in New York. Many patrons enjoy Chi-Chi E's signature flair.Chi-Chi E. always satisfies her customers taste for opulence. The Vintique woman needs attire that emphasizes her sense of style, unique personality and enthusiasm for life. Chi-Chi E's flawless designs and commitment to superior, quality clothing have captivated the attention of the fashion elite. Each season, she delivers a must-have wardrobe for the stylish sophisticate with daring yet dainty pieces; perfect for the distinguished lady.

Chigozilu (Chi-Chi) Enigwe

Throughout the growth of the Vintique line, Chi-Chi E. worked closely with her younger sister, Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi has an enthusiasm for the arts, especially the dramatic wardrobe of the theatre. Twelve is the magic number for the sisters, because Chi-Chi also began cultivating her talent for fashion at twelve years-old. She began to compile her sketches. They eventually became large collections of couture apparel. Five of Chi-Chi's pieces were featured on The Tyra Banks show. Tyra wore a form fitting, high-waisted, lace piece from Chi-Chi's collection. Although Chi-Chi extensively assisted in designing for the Vintique woman, she truly enjoys indulging her glamorous side—the side that she called "O di. " "O di," which in her native tongue, Igbo, translates to "It is…" As Chi-Chi says, " let your clothes fill in the blank."Chi-Chi reigns as chief designer of O di Couture. Through a mix of theatrical concepts and beautiful fabrics, Chi-Chi crafts couture pieces that are made to grace the red carpet at any major celebrity event.
