About Me
Who am I? I am first and foremost GOD's child and I give GOD all the glory and his due praise. I am daughter to parents who brought me into a subculture, which transcended color, socio-economical class, and stereotypical American tradition. That subculture being the community of musicians and artists as a whole in the San Francisco Bay Area in which I was raised and continue to live and raise my own children. A community of musicians who the majority of have found a way to support them selves and thrive doing their art by becoming educators and continuing to be lifelong students of their various passions and art forms. This making me who I am today as an artist, a parent and member of my community. I am a mother to my three beautiful children Jahcaila, Jamal and Misha. I am a sister to my 3 blood brothers and handful of surrogate brothers and sisters who I have accepted and invited into my life as my family. I am an aunt to my biological and surrogate nieces and nephews. I am a woman, a singer, a songwriter, a poet, a musician, a comedian, an actress, a dancer, an emcee, a Noble House Queen, half of Chemistry, a clown, a student, a teacher, a friend, a seeker, a finder, a leader and a follower, a redhead with freckles and green eyes, an American, a B-girl, a white girl, a hoochie mama, a baby's mama, an ex-wife, an ex-girlfriend, an outcast, a human being, a social misfit, a social butterfly, a lunatic, a genius, a fool, a sinner, a saint, a rebel, a lover, a fighter, a soldier, a believer, a prophet, a vessel of GOD, a mess, a homemaker, an introvert and an extravert, I am the Main Bitch, I am Caitlin, I am Cait La Dee, I am Mommy, I am Baby, I am me.
