I am here for Friends

About Me

Myspace Profile Tracker World Visitor Map Greetings!
“On a journey” is the best descriptor I can think of at the moment. From my home state of Nebraska I headed west in 1985 first to Wyoming and then to Colorado partly for career, partly for the mountains. Suddenly I have found myself in my mid-later 40's. Where has the time gone.?
In my adventures here, I have climbed 46 of the 54, 14,000 foot peaks (been stuck on that number for awhile) but have climbed many of them 2 and 3 times each by different routes. There have been climbs of many 13’ers and those in the 11,000-12,000 foot altitude range also. The biggest climb was of Popocatepetl, a volcano in Mexico, which stands at 17,887 feet above sea level.
In 1990 I married Patty who I met here in Colorado. She has shared a countless number of great outdoor adventures with me over the years and some great treks to Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and a least a dozen national parks in the US. We have two boys, Samuel (12) and Luke (10) (also great adventurers and musicians). Samuel is the classical and electric guitarist and Luke is the pianist.
Check this ministry site. This is ministry with my friend Dave that seeks God through hiking and the great outdoors. More on that soon
