Started jamming back in December 2003... Anywayz, these are THE roots of our existence, even though we synchronously played in many pet project bands which made us go through many influences and genres and through the time resulted in creating a unique and authentic band called MUTE. Regardless that we were still a cover band, we used all the experience from our live performances as though as our personal perception of life which resulted by changing all those cover songs and expressing our selves through them rather than simply copying other authors` thoughts and feelings. The original MUTE crew was: Nenad Tasic - Tasa (lead guitar and ksylophone :), Lazar Kebic (Bass guitar, vocals and tap-dance :), Relja Ilic - Reglia (Drumz, percusions and good looks :) and Bozidar Mladenovic - Boza (Guitar, Lead vocal and crappy humor :)
The band had many local gigs and, to baldly say, many local fans and friends which really anticipated every gig of ours, never knowing what to expect, regarding to our lack of lucidity and free spirit... So, the band went on like that ever since the summer of 2006 when many obligations and even fewer gigs and rehearsals lead to separating from our drummer Reglia and starting a "never ending quest" to find that 4th member which, thank God, we found when we least expected... Oh yes yes my friends, it was this crazy, full of life and youth kinda guy called Zeljko which was already playing in a similar sounding band but never the less eager to broaden his views, started playing with us, which kinda fueled us up and gave us motivation to go on... But alas, due to many misunderstandings, another member of our band left us (Lazar) so we, again, started searching and luckily found his replacement, Boza`s bro` Voja who, then again, brought his jazz influence to the band... Hewww, well, mhhhm, regarding this story we are grunge based / alternative / indie / desert rock and totally "Queens of the stone age" crazed band (so we were told)... And what else to say my friends than to be patient, veeeery patient cuz we`re working on our songs and hope to see yall soon!Peace and keva`s sarma with good `ol prepechenitza!
