Normal people? Do they exist? People who don't live in "Da Hood" or "Da Ghetto." People who don't feel the need to aimlessly hang around at bus stops ("wiv ma m8s innit"), outside the local shops or by park benches drinking cans of Diamond White and Special Brew. Not really my thing if i'm honest!
I adore most music and enjoy discovering new "This is my favourite song EVER!" moments all the time!Of course anyone who knows me won't be supprised with me starting this list with Michael Jackson ... I've been a big fan of his forever! Also Madonna, Snowpatrol, Jellyfish, The Calling, Hanson, Stereophonics, Maroon 5, James Morrison, The Kooks, U2, Aerosmith, Amy Winehouse, Dido, Marvin Gaye, Kate Bush, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Linkin Park, Matchbox 20, John Mayer, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin. Just discovered a new singer called Louise Setara who has an amazing voice and only 18!!! Also i adore a local singer called David Wyatt who i go to see whenever i get the chance.
The Shawshank Redemtion is an amazing and inspiring film and has been my clear favourite from the first time i saw it! Also adore Lord of the Rings Trilogy, All 6 Star Wars films, Amelie, The Pianist, Stand by me, Moulin Rouge, The Harry Potter films, Of course Bridget Jones, Love Actually, Sin City, Lucky number sleven, Kill Bill, Million dollar baby, Trading places (funniest film ever!)
24!!!! Without a doubt the greatest program to grace the planet!
Lord of the Rings. The Hobbit. To Kill a Mockingbird. Most Stephen King books, especially The Stand, The Talisman, Firestarter and The Green Mile. The Davinci Code and Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, One flew over the cookoos nest, most of John Grishams books. I fell in love with Shakespeares "Romeo and Juliet" when i first read it back at school. The Handmaids tale, The Crucible, all the Harry Potter books ... just finished "The Half Blood Prince" and still getting over the shock of how it ended! Can't wait for the next installment! Plus many many more.
My Aunty Sally for being such a strong, independant person, for bringing up 4 brilliant children all on her own and for giving me some of my happiest childhood memories! My Nan!
