His career began in 1995 as the drummer of Gray Dot Records artist, "Age of Faith" where the band realized success with a Number 1 CHR radio single, Top 5 music video on ZTV and countless concert dates with the most iconic artists in Christian Music, including Third Day, Newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman, Audio Adrenaline and many others.In 2000, Steve left life as an artist to work at EMI Music out of Nashville, TN. While at EMI Music, Steve served in a capacity that helped to launch artists like Chris Tomlin, TobyMac, David Crowder* Band, Nichole Nordeman, Bethany Dillon and many others. The next chapter of his career will have Steve working directly with artists where he will be able to use his experience on both sides of the industry to help artists have lasting and meaningful careers. Steve's experience is unique in the fact that he has the perspective of an artist and a record label. This unique perspective will give artists signed with Blair Artist Management a distinct advantage and has positioned Blair Artist Management as a great home for the new generation of artists.Blair currently manages the career of RKT/Rocketown Records artist, High Flight Society. High Flight Society's debut CD was released through the Provident/Sony/BMG system on June 5th of 2007. iTunes named their debut one of 2007's "Top Albums of the Year". All three of their singles did well on the Rock radio charts, with one of them reaching Top 12. The band constantly tours the United States. High Flight Society is currently in the studio working on songs for their new release. Blair Artist Management also manages BlueEyesSoul from Stockholm, Sweden. BES is booked by Jeff Roberts and Associates. They will be touring the US in 2009 in support of their debut album out Summer of 2009. We also manage Worship Leader and Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing songwriter, Carl Cartee. Carl is a staff worship leader at Fellowship Bible Church in Nashville , TN and performs nearly 120 worship events and concerts per year. Carl's songs have been recorded by the Gaither Vocal Band and many others. His latest recording, "Here I Go" was produced by Nathan Nockles (Passion Worship Band, Phillips, Craig and Dean, Watermark). Carl's CD is currently available nationwide exclusively through Family Christian Stores. His next album, a live worship project will be out Spring of 2009 via Great Worship Songs/Word Distribution.
