I'm from Austin, Texas. Now I live in Echo Park, California. I enjoy making things like songs, films, dresses, and breakfast in the shape of a face. My birthday is cinco de mayo, and my favorite cake is strawberry shortcake. Que rico! I have spent approximately 30% of my adult life traveling around India, Asia, Central & South America studying labor & agricultural movements. Most recently, I spent two months in Peru working with Aldea Yanapay , an organization that provides education to at risk youth and children in police custody in Cusco, and in Bolivia working with Ushpa-Ushpa , an organization that supports a settlement of displaced miners outside of Cochabamba. Last year, I spent a month in Brazil learning about agroecology and photo-documenting the Movement of Landless Workers . Please contact me if you're interested in these organizations or if you'd like to help me exhibit or publish my photos in an effort to help them raise funds.
