IRREVERENCE started in year 2002 when Eliphas, Phobos & Mjollnir, previously members of a local Black Metal Band called Dark Flame, joined together with Oblivion, Overlord & Tifon from local Death Metal band called Cryogenia.Their style came from the fussion of both Death & Black Metal showing dark atmospheres, rawness & aggresivity at the same time.
As a result of that, after writing some songs & playing a few gigs, they released
their first demo untitled "Unleashing the Beast" in year 2004 which was introduced in the VII Zahara Rock Festival on February 2004 & another shows later.
Three own cuts & a Luciferion cover can be found in this demo-Cd.
After Overlord left the band & Irreverence contacted with Taigrel as a new guitar player.
The new line-up is the following:PHOBOS - Vocals,
OBLIVION & TAIGREL - Guitars,
MJOLLNIR - Bass,
ANCESTOR (previously named Eliphas) - Drums.They started promoting themselves playing some really heavy gigs with consolidated bands like Numen, Avulsed, Machetazo ...
Nowadays, they keep writing new songs in order to record a new Cd.
