I think it was another drunken night, at a local park, when
the soon-to-be singer and former rhythm guitarist and a random
drunken guy, who ocassionally happened to abuse his guitar for
doing solos - furthermore called the lead guitarist - first met.
They didn't stay in contact for as long as half a year until
they met by surprise again. The lead guitarist was playing a borrowed
acoustic guitar as the singer came by, looking for a band. It
didn't take long to figure out, they were both looking for the
same path and soon a drummer and a bass player were found. After
a month of boozing and brainstorming half of the band was sitting
in a local bar starting to write their first songs while drinking
a lot of beer. At first their intention was to release a concept
album about life itself, seen from a very gothy point of view.
But after the first rehearsal the band decided to go astray of
all the cliches and take a ride to raw booze'n'roll, as it was,
what they embodied. By occassion, they found a rhythm guitarist,
who didn't happen to be their vocalist and so the lineup was
complete. Within 2 weeks they played their first gig. A few gigs
and 7 songs later, they decided to go into studio to record a
demo, which attracted attention of various labels. For personal
reasons, mainly, because most of them were in their teens at this
time and had to finish school before doing anything else, they
didn't respond to that. At the moment, Die So Young is rehearsing
and preparing for the recordings to a full-length album which
will probably be released at the beginning of 2008.
..to be continued.
