Hello everyone,here's a lil bit about myself for anyone who is interested... my name is Felicia Hardy,and I was born in Queens,NY. My father was a renowned cat burglar, who right before his arrest, encouraged me to never settle for second best. God how I loved my father, and was so angry when he was taken away from me and thrown in prison. And wouldn't u know, my streak of bad luck continued...during my freshman year of college, i was date raped by my boyfriend, Ryan. I hated the idea of being a helpless victim, so i made a decision then and there, that i was going to murder my rapist, despite the consequences. I put aside my studies and began training in various fighting styles and acrobatics. Finally after months of training, i set out for revenge, unfortunately for me a car accident killed Ryan before i could. Furious that i was denied the chance to steal the life that had stolen mine, i decided to use my new skills to follow in my fathers footsteps. After stealing a fortune i decided to chose an identity...the Black Cat costume. The first time i wore my costume, was the night i busted my father out of prison. It was that fateful night that i met Spidey, and although i hated men, i connected to him, and to this day i believe we share a kinship. He was the first man i grew to trust and love, and he taught me that not all men are scum like Ryan, that there are some good men out there, u just need to look. It was for this man, Spiderman, that i decided to change my ways, to prove to him that i was capable of good, that i was worth a chance. And although things between spidey and i never worked out...we remail very good friends to this day...i owe alot to Peter.The Black Cat has reflexes, agility, and stamina of an Olympic level acrobat. She is physically very strong and athletic and has great physical endurance. She is an excellent street fighter capable of taking on several armed male assailants and incapacitating them without being injured herself.The Black Cat has also acquired several devices from the Tinkerer that increase her agility and heighten her strength. She wears ear rings that interact with the balance centers of her brain to grant her enhanced agility. She has contact lenses that let her see in various spectrums of light, such as infra-red and ultraviolet. Her costume contains micro-servos that enhance her strength above normal human levels. The gloves of her costume contain steel micro-filaments, which form retractable claws at the fingertips when she flexes her fingers (triggering a magnetic surge which condenses the filaments into polarized talons) which enable her to tear through most surfaces and easily scale walls. In addition to this the costume is extremely distracting and provocative (due to its skin-tight shape and plunging v-neck that exposes her cleavage), making it difficult for a male assailant to concentrate on what he is doing. Using this equipment the Black Cat has been able to successfully best enemies who have superhuman abilities.The Black Cat has a miniature grappling hook device hidden in the "fur" of each glove, which enables her to swing from buildings in a manner similar to Spider-Man, though not quite as fast.Today i am happily married to the most wonderful man, and villian turned hero, Eddie Brock, aka Venom. He understands me, and my past and he completes me in so many ways. We have been through alot in our brief time together, but we have come out stronger than ever and we r ready to overcome whatever comes our way, be it villians or whores. Together we fight NYC crime and try to give back to out society. We make an excellent combo my hubby and i...Eddie, u have my heart, always and forever.
