Tom Hobbs has been in the music business for over 30 years and has helped performers win award after award. He has worked as talent coordinator, producer, musician, singer/songwriter, and was named "Most Promising Songwriter" by the North American Country Music Association International. Diamond Disc Music has signed and is aggressively representing two outstanding artists and performers, hip hop artist JINX and country award winner Travis Parks. Let us tell you a bit about both.
JINX has been involved in music all his life. His never-ending love of music, combined with pure natural ability, allows him to write and perform all styles of music. JINX started singing at the age of 6 and started his first recordings in his father’s studio at the age of 12. He started performing professionally at the age of 14 as the lead singer and front man in a metal band. His heart wasn’t into the metal music, but rather his first love rap/ hip-hop. He has been performing his true love rap/ hip-hop since the age of 15. He has performed at the University of Illinois, Peoria’s Expo Gardens, The Blind Pig, Club Gravity, The Peoria Civic Center, Five Points Center as well as many other venues. He has opened for, or performed with, Chingy, D12, Bizzy Bone, Plies, Young Gunz, Rich Boy, Webbie, Laze & Royal, Twista and sadly, Proof. JINX had spent months with Proof and all of the Iron Fist organization. He has genuine talent, unmatched drive and determination, great looks, and outstanding song writing skills. He has enjoyed a large local and regional following and has had at least four songs receive airplay on two of Central Illinois’ largest hip-hop stations. His single “I Don’t Even Know You†hit the top 5 most requested for over two months and remained in the top ten most requested for over 4 months. He had been placed in heavy rotation as well as prime drive time. JINX is a talent unequaled in stage presence, songwriting, and performance.
