DJ Ade has been a constant presence in the UK Garage scene, since early 2007. Although he was a local UKG DJ in the old skool UK Garage days, he came to the public light when UK Garage had a mini revival in 2007.His first two white label releases "No More" (ft Hayley Ellis) and "Free From You" (ft Collette Jay) in 2007 were the forefront tunes that launched DJ Ade and enabled him to become a consistent original producer of new skool UK Garage. DJ Ade held a weekly show on Wax FM 102.4 during 2007, and helped raise awareness for new UK Garage in the south east side of London. In 2008, DJ Ade released four brand new original tunes for digital download. These tunes were "Finally" (ft MC M-R-T), "All Good Vibez" (ft MC M-R-T), the new skool UKG anthem "Summertime" (ft Andy T and MC VIP) and "Don't Screw Around" (ft MC VIP and Lady G). These four tunes outlined DJ Ade's different producing styles and to showcase that UKG can be a wide genre, with a high degree of versatility to cover many tastes.Ade moved to a weekly show on Force FM 106.5 in March 2008 and continued plugging new UK Garage to listeners in Essex, Herts, Kent and London. All of DJ Ade's tunes have received major airplay across the airwaves and clubs across London and surrounding counties - and several tunes have featured on various mix cds too - notably the UK Flava and Sweetbeatz mix cds."Summertime" became Ade's most successful tune to date, with huge support surrounding it - people were requesting it, even during the winter of 2008 - and it is looking like the winter of 2009 is going to be the same too.The beginning of 2009, saw Ade's lastest release "Why Won't You Call Me Baby?" (ft Lady G) arrive in the UKG scene, again on digital download. This tune was a move away from the bumpy, heavier kind of UKG that Ade produces, and this melodic vocal tune has garnered good support during spring and summer.Despite the rising popularity of UK Funky, bassline and electro house and UK Garage declining again, DJ Ade still continues plugging new UK Garage religiously, on his new fortnightly show on Force FM 106.5, with fiancee and host Lady Naz - who herself, is learning how to produce and DJ.DJ Ade and Lady Naz are on every other Saturday from 11am-12.30pm on Force FM. To help you work out which Saturday they are on - the 5th September 2009 is a scheduled set, and the shows will be held every fortnight thereafter. This fortnightly format, will enable Ade and Naz to concentrate on working on a new bulk of original new UKG material, as well as some remixes too. However, a return to another weekly show will be on the cards in the future.
The summer of 2009 has been a remixing period for Ade while he has been waiting on vocalists to write to his backing tracks. In May, Ade completed a remix for Universal's girl band "Anything But Monday's" debut single "Bump". This remix has been put forward to Universal and hopefully should be signed soon. Also, Ade co-remixed Ce Ce Peniston's "Finally", with Lady Naz, who was producing for the first time, after spending time and coaching her on how to use producing programs. This remix has already received plenty of feedback and will be distributed to the UK Garage scene soon.Furthermore, DJ Ade and Naz have completed a UKG remix of the big UK Funky anthem "Go" by Meleka and Crazy Cousins, and this remix has been blowing up on all underground station across London and surrouding counties! It has also received play on Kiss 100 and BBC 1Xtra.Finally, DJ Ade is pleased to announce that he has been signed by Imploded Records during the summer of 2009, and all of his tunes (past and future) will be released and promoted by this exciting UK Garage record label.
