The little elementary schooler who was awesome at foursquare and played the occasional butt ball. Loving Sailor Moon at the age of 9 and hula hoops and sidewalk chalk. Studying hard for such a youngster and had scraggly butt length brown hair. Never thinking of style or fashion but too busy being carefree and wild.The growing middle schooler who stayed After Hours to play fooseball and football with boys. Maintaining excellent grades and loved science and Spanish. Who remembers where she was the morning of 9/11 like a movie.The ambitious high schooler who was such a drama nerd. Who got pretty good grades through watching her favorite teacher get charged with having an affair with a student. Who lost many friends yet seemed to always make new ones. Loving school tater tots and hating the pizza. Living on her own at 17 and having a car and job at 16, never resenting any experience because they were just that. Never dwelling on what would be changed if one could go back in time. Was hated for being insecure by those who were insecure themselves.Now out in the world and growing, living with a good friend and a new boy. Feeling lucky to have such support in this time of personal crisis. Who got past an alcoholic mother, an absent father. Finding it hard to go back to school, though missing it more and more the further it slips away. Who is thankful for her grandfather for being the one who was there.
