Music has been a big part of my life. The other big part has been being a Dad. I really love my children. And I really love the Lord Jesus Christ. Raising children can be a really tough job...raising them as a single parent even tougher. Much respect to all the single parents. Recently, I have been blessed with the spirit of aloha. Kinda what happens when you settle down with a vahine. As the in-laws shared the Hawaiian spirit with me I fell in love with the culture, art, and way of life. Eventually, I ended up visiting Tahiti and it became my home away from home. I think what happens is that you visit the islands and you experience the love, kindness and warmth of the people and you become family. Thats what I really enjoyed and later found out what I needed in my life, family. They treat you like you are part of their family and it feels really wonderful. My other part is the musical family I have here in the Bay Area. Playing music professionally has been a life experience and a wonderful journey for me. You have to come and see "The Rojas Band" perform sometime. www.myspace.com/Rojasband or email at [email protected]... also you have to see a performance by Hula Halau O'Nalua Otea Api they are great...www.pacificexchangeprod.com And last but not least my San Jose family. I love them all. I can be very giving and loving and I accept nothing in return. I love to give of myself. I love to share my music and I love to share my spirit.
