I am passionate about fighting the deadly epidemic of drugging children in our nation today for "invented" illnesses such as ADHD & "misrepresented" Asperger's Autism. Asperger's has a subjective list of behaviors almost identical to ADHD! If your child is diagnosed with ADHD or any other psychiatric disorder ask your doctor which medical test he used to base his diagnosis on. Ask him/her to see such test. You will never see one because no such test exists! Real illnesses can be proved by science. Only fraudulent, invented illnesses have no science to back them up. My heart goes out to all the children that are suffering because they are being forced to swallow drugs. Doctors are not being honest in regards to ADHD, Asperger's Autism (the new ADHD), Bipolar, depression, etc. etc. Not only are they misleading parents on the mental illness label with no actual medical tests to back it up, but more importantly on the dangers of the drugs used in the name of treatment! Don't let them fool you! These drugs are not mild stimulants, they are very dangerous & very addictive. Some of them share the same category of drug as cocaine! Shouldn't that speak for itself??? The most deadly drugs on the market, antipsychotics, are being prescribed to children with Autism! Kids were not born into this world asking to be made drug addicts. They did not ask to be "chemically" altered! They did not ask to be "physically" damaged! To me it is like saying to a child "you are not good enough for who you are...let me just wipe away your personality & trade it in for a new, less demanding one, because I don't like who you've become & quite frankly, I don't have the time or patience to deal with you!" Talk about damage to the self esteem & confidence! Kids deserve to be who they are....active, energetic, loving, caring, curious, NORMAL CHILDREN! Pleeeaaassseee people...don't drug your kids! If your child is misbehaving it might be because of something that is lacking in their life or disturbing him/her whether at school or at home. They might also have an underlying medical condition such as a food allergy! Get to the root of the problem & fix it! Drugs won't fix it....they'll only make YOUR life & the classroom teacher's life easier at your child's expense! Think of the thousands of parents that lost their child to these drugs & ask yourself if the risk of death is worth the benefit of your child staying in his/her seat at school and always behaving perfectly at home. Find an alternative. Your child with thank you for it later.
