About Me

All things with an end... pursue endlessly Reminding myself daily... Love never grows out of style. Still growing into my skin. There's always a lot to say, but I care more to hear about it from a song that has yet been sungBelow I thought I'd have myself some fun and write a composition about myself much like the several I wrote throughout my childhood. ... It started as an oral presentation during "circle time" in preschool and eventually wound up on paper as soon as I could scribble written word. In it's last and most current itteration, it has evolved into a virtual space of chips and salsa. Below I present you with something south of reason...Who am I?/What do I do? I work and I play. I (over)indulge with food and have learned without wisdom that I can rarely satisfy an insatiable appetite. I think in thoughts...,(!?) I avoid words, and prefer to communicate in sound. I have passions that I explore routinely to keep in good health and positive spirits. I like my cheese extra cheezy. I make up lyrics to songs I actually do know the words to. I dance naked in my heart and I enjoy midnight showers under the twinkle of the starlight. I enjoy movie night (CineBaron) as often as I get a new film (what a pleasure). I have my oysters by the dozen. I prefer my jokes with no less than a tadful of humor (just enought to have me smiling tends to suffice antything less may be considered insulting). I like books, but I hate to read!... so many words at one time (equivical to slurping down a milkshake and experiencing a brain freeze, but close). I find it funny when I can reason in rhyme. I mostly talk about my favorite subject alll the time (...as Senora Balbe put it, spanish class my senior year of HS). I love all good things to never have to draw to their inevitable end. I need balance. But for now... my new friends, I must go to bed. So, nice to meet you, and goodnight...

My Interests

Friends, family, sports -running, martial arts (what used to resemble Kung-Fu), tennis, downhill biking, hockey, basketball, football, golf, water sports (usually powered by a motor), other recreation - foosball, pool, chess, cards, beer pong, movies, music, concerts and festivals, degenerate activities on the weekends (that last one is back on the list for the moment due to lack of what I used to obligate myself to and describe as necessary preoccupations)...

I'd like to meet:

Knowing who would be like having clarvoyance. My curiosity will let me know and your interest will intrigue us both. The founders of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.

Music:

Unfair to name just a few, not practical with a whole long list... But I can say I get depressed when there is no music in my life that gives me the sensation of something new. The origin of sound does not discriminate! Music is good and (good) lyrics is what keep music timeless. Unfortunately, some artists will always suck. ;(

Movies:

Pick for the month: NONE :( , Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, City of God, O Brother Where Art Though, Royal Tenanbaums, Prime (chick flick yes, quality script and character development, definitely), The Business (Synopsis... Scareface set in the 80's onlywith South London Gangsters in the South of Spain. My sister officially deems it the best 80's soundtrack to date). I was enfatuated with Closer and will always love Beethoven with a cold glass of milk, much like Alex would - A Clockwork Orange. More too list, but... okay all time favorite, because I can always get nostalgic, Goonies.

Television:

As little as possible to get by. Simpsons, Family Guy, Daily Show, or any reality show that borderlines soft-core porn (how else can I watch one episode, not know what's really going on and simply not care!? jk)

Books:

Candide. 1984. The rest are dense school books most commonly known as textbooks as opposed to books of a different subject matter as implied here. I know, I know, I'm no fun...

Heroes:

For sure my dad for shaping the man I yearn to be. Oh, and Jimmy Carter - thanks for the great foreign policy.

My Blog

Ode to Glutony (my first passion in life)

In the honor and spirit of our modern day thanksgiving, I would like to make my pledge to combat my insatiable appetite by eating portions for four this thanksgiving holidy in place of my usual three....
