Swing Crash

The Swing Crash jazz festival will take place in the main square of Como, Piazza Cavour, from the 19th till the 22nd of June 2008. The Swing Crash does not want to be a classic jazz festival, but an unique event never organized before in Italy. Hundreds of dancers from all over the World took part at the previous years. The Swing Crash is now at his 3rd edition. People who came over can say it was amazing. 3000 people on Saturday night?! I think they are enough... for the second edition. Come and Join us!! And it's going to be outdoor. Exactly like in America back in the old days: a band and hundreds of dancers going crazy for swing music. A jazz festival for dancers organized by dancers. The event is going to have a different band every night outdoor, a dance party untill 5am in a big mexican pub, amazing swing and tap teachers and performers from all over the world, To make it more simple: 1. dance classes in the late afternoon; 2. Party and concerts from 9pm till midnight in Piazza Cavour; 3. dance competitions and shows in the concerts square; 4. “all nite long dancing” at the Cactus Juice in Via Mentana from 1am till 5am.Well, now you have an idea of what is going to happen. We could say: good music, good dancers and good food in the wonderful Como right by the lake.What else you need to spend an amazing summer vacation.
