Nato dalle ceneri delle serate Get Smart, il The Right Track nasce a Roma nel 2005 con la missione principale di offrire sonorita' ed atmosfere di una serata mod/sixties ad un pubblico piu' ampio ed eterogeneo della ristretta scena underground. La serata si propone quindi di offrire il tipico sound mod/sixties, difficile da ascoltare altrove, mantenendo come obiettivo primo la qualita' musicale, senza condizionamenti commerciali e senza scadere in ridicolo revival. Generi come dancefloor jazz, club soul / northern soul, jamaican sound, rhythm and blues, beat / freakbeat, funk / hammond grooves, latin jazz / boogaloo, etc. vengono proposti su vinile dai resident oltre che dai diversi ospiti che si avvicendano nelle diverse serate.
La serata parti' come appuntamento quindicinale del sabato alla Radio, affascinante cocktail bar stile anni 50, dove riusci' a creare un bel movimento di gente ed un atmosfera difficilmente ripetibile. Nell'estate 2006 il The Right Track si e' spostato in spiaggia con l'happening sulla terrazza sul mare del Miami di Ostia con tre appuntamenti riuscitissimi. Per il 2007 le esigenze di crescere ulteriormente ci hanno portato a spostarci prima al Sugar C (Testaccio) e poi alla Galleria dei Serpenti (Rione Monti). Nell'Estate 2007 il Right Track è andato a Terracina per la consueta riuscitissima versione balneare.Il The Right Track per la nuova stagione 2007-2008 si stabilisce definitivamente alla Galleria dei Serpenti per serate mensili di venerdi. I djs che si avvicenderanno (Claudia, Danielino, Davide, Fabrizio, Leo, Peter) vantano vaste ed eterogenee collezioni di vinile ed anni di esperienza come selecter a diversi appuntamenti mod/sixties in giro per Roma e l'Italia.

From the Get Smart nights' ashes, The Right Track was founded in Rome (Italy) in 2005 with the main mission to offer sounds and vibes of a mod/sixties club to a wider and more etherogeneous crowd than the current undergound scene. The club specializes therefore on mod/sixties sounds, which are difficult to be heard around Rome, maintaining the target of musical quality, without commercial compromises and without aiming at a ridiculous revival of the sixties. Musical styles span from dancefloor jazz to club soul /northern soul, jamaican sound, rhythm and blues, beat /freakbeat, funk / hammond grooves, latin jazz / boogaloo, etc., which are played from original vinyl records by the three resident selecters, plus the various guests that participate to our club.
The club started as a forthnightly event at La Radio, a cool fifties-style cocktail bar, where we managed to create a movement and a unique vibe. In the Summer of 2006, The Right Track moved to the seaside by the Miami club in Ostia with its beautiful beach view. By 2007, in order to cater for the growing demand, The Right Track left La Radio for Sugar C (Testaccio) and then the Galleria dei Serpenti (Rione Monti). For the Summer of 2007, the usual great beach party this time held at La Sirenella in Terracina (60 kms South of Rome).
The Right Track for the new 2007-2008 seaon establish itself in the Galleria dei Serpenti club and the dj line-up (Claudia, Danielino, Davide, Fabrizio, Leo, Peter) boasts huge and heterogeneous collections of vinyl records and years of experience spinning at mod/sixties events in Rome and Italy.
