I live in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia with my wife Michele and our kids Eamon, Eoin, and Maureen. By day, I'm a classical trumpeter, freelancing with whatever outfit needs a hired gun (Philadelphia Orchestra, Pennsylvania Ballet, Opera Company of Philadelphia, etc.). I also play in a fantastic chamber orchestra based near Memphis, TN, the IRIS Orchestra. I teach a very little bit (at Drexel University and at the University of Pennsylvania), and I also do quite a lot of composing and arranging, collaborating with anyone from the Virginia Symphony to the Relâche ensemble to Solas (really!)By night, I dig out the guitar and play Traditional Irish Music, accompanying some great musicians in Philly and in New York.
