Music for Art's sake

About Me

This is VIA.VIA is a musical project being developed by Phil Owen and Eli Jorgensen. We are strong believers in making music for the sake of artistic expression. We don't have any intentions of making our music appealing to any sort of mass audience. Or even a small audience. We make music that we like and that is pleasing to us. If people like it then "Hooray". If people don't like it, thats fine, we like it though.
We feel that music should take you on a journey: mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Music should captivate you. This is what we strive for.
If you do not like our music, don't feel like you need to toss out fake compliments to us just to support us just because you think Phil is good looking...no one is arguing that. Feel free to tell us you don't like something.
As of now we do not have a live act. Maybe someday in the future that will be possible. We sure hope so. But right now we are content with just writing and recording at our own pace. Which is absurdly slow.
We will post songs up when we feel they are somewhat presentable. They are most likely subject to change because we change our minds a lot. Cause we can. But lucky for you, you get to see our writing process in action. Hooray. Unless we decide that thats a dumb idea and keep our songs to ourselves until we are totally "finished" with them.
Anyways, enjoy Via.
Love,
Via_________________________________________________________ __________________
