Hello Everyone! Welcome to my page! My name is Hengameh and I am a 19 year old singer/songwriter/dancer from Los Angeles, California! I am also a involved with acting, tv show hosting, and modeling. I am a full-time student pursuing a psychology major. I just recently graduated with an AA degree from Pierce College and I am very honored to be continuing my studies towards my Bachelors at UCLA! I work two jobs, at CPK and World Audience. While doing all of this, I have been and will continue reaching my goals in the entertainment business. I hope to get signed to a label soon! It is very difficult and stressful to accomplish all of this at the same time, but I love the challenge. Music is the biggest aspect in my life....it is my life, the air that I breathe. I have been singing since I was very little, but started taking it up professionally since I was 13. When I was 8 years old I started playing piano and I have just recently started to learn the guitar. I have been a dancer all of my life and have been competing in dance and music since I was 12. I dance mainly hip-hop and thrash, but can also dance drill, jazz, some ballet, lyrical, and belly dance. I love choreographing dance! I have been writing lyrics and composing melodies since I was about 12 years old. I don't know what I would do without music. It has helped me through many hardships in my life. I have had many dance and music performances in my life and it just so happens that almost every time I had one, there was something terrible going on in my life. My dance coach and close friend, Jessica Mahr, taught me to put all of my emotions into my singing or dancing or whatever I was performing at that time. The way that I feel when I perform is indescribable, I can honestly say that it is not only something I love to do, it is an obsession. It is my passion. I do not care about what anybody says, I do not care about money...even if I never become a successful and famous artist, I will still be doing this because it is what I love to do. But of course, I want to become very successful and I want to do this more than anything! It is so hard being a young girl, doing everything that I do, and doing it all alone. But regardless....I will keep going, and nothing will stop me from doing what I love to do. I am extremely determined, driven, hard-working, and passionate about this. I truly believe in myself and I want to thank all of those who have stuck by my side and kept me going. I hope you all enjoy the songs that I have provided to you on my music player. All of my songs are original, copyrighted, and written by me. And I will be working on new music hopefully soon. I am a pop/rock artist but I also sing r&b, hip-hop, and classical.
