Born Christopher Ananeh-Firempong August 7, 1982, TIP TOE DA BOSS was always an ambitious individual, even as a child. Growing up in the area of Los Angeles, California known as the eastside, TIP and his younger brother DOLLA BILL had to grow up fast. Living in their grandmother’s house with their hard working mother, aunts, uncles and a few cousins, TIP learned the value of sacrifice and learned to take care of him and his lil bro. In the summer of 1989 TIP, DOLLA BILL, and mom moved to the City of INGLEWOOD. TIP had to really grow fast into this rough environment and over time made a name for himself in the city. He excelled as an athlete in basketball, baseball, and football. Many thought he would make it to the pros in one of those sports but, by the time he hit high school, his interest in sports diminished. That was capped when he was kicked off the basketball team @ WESTCHESTER HIGH SCHOOL for having a fight with a teammate, after this the streets came calling. Not wanting to burden his mother for money being the oldest child, he turned to the streets as his source of income. This eventually led to various run-ins with the law and catching several cases, including missing his high school graduation while fighting an adult robbery case @ the age of 17, (he was later found not guilty of this charge), but this was the 1st of many more charges as an adult. He knew he had to make a change, always having an undying love for music (mainly hip hop) he was always interested in the music industry. At 22 he enrolled in a local junior college to study business, and played 1 year of basketball, but the music kept calling. DOLLA BILL and his good friend K-DIEZEL polished their rap skills during all of this. After basketball didn’t turn out the way he wanted and not really being into school, TIP decided to start his own record label M.A.D.E.L.I.F.E. ENTERTAINMENT, with DOLLA and DIEZEL as the forefront artists. Being in the studio all the time led him to work on his own flow and his own music as well as handling the business for M.A.D.E.L.I.F.E. So prepare for west coast gangsta rap at its finest. Watch out for the 2008 release of the mixtape "STILL TIPPIN...MOST HATED BUT MOST RESPECTED" and the street album "INTERNATIONAL HUSTLER", filled with “street tales with a messageâ€. “SO BOTTOM LINE M.A.D.E.L.I.F.E. IS HITTING HARD IN 2007, 2008, 2009....TIL THA WHEELS FALL OF!!!…M.A.D.E.L.I.F.E. OR NOTHING!!!! IF YOU DON’T LIKE US YOU DON’T LIKE YOURSELF!!!â€
