About Me

I'm 5'2, I wanna dance with you, and I'm sophisticated fun.I talk vocal technique and baseball- sometimes at the same time. I like to eat. I dance in public a lot. I can't ever remember where I put my keys, or that I left a load of laundry in the washing machine, but I can quote entire Chris Farley movies on command. I have a twin brother, and YES we look alike, and NO we can't read each other's minds. I drive a red car. I have a hard time deciding between all the things I like. I enjoy winning the biggest ass competition against my mom. I'm told that I snore sometimes. I like to snuggle with my cat, even though she sometimes makes me sneeze. My mood can often be affected by the performance of the NY Mets. There is no such thing as too much chocolate. I'd like to think that everyone has at least one interesting thing to say. When I get drunk I tend to start speaking foreign languages. If I couldn't sing, I might actually die.I recently found this throwback- me and Nelson Hebo singing in Florence summer of 2006. I can't figure out how to add the video itself, so just follow the link- enjoy! http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=MQQ69tb1zB4

My Interests

opera, feminism, NYC, dancing, wine, men, volleyball, singing really high notes, things that are Italian (actually Italian, not guido-wanna-be), NY Mets, the beach, the NY Public Library, foreign languages, Mexican food, historical fiction, hating George W., travel, trashy tv shows, dumplings, purple eye shadow, activists, flip flops, random pop culture references, Florence, being curvy, Greek mythology, meeting men that don't speak English, being an opera elitist

I'd like to meet:

Elizabeth I- too bad she's dead. Unfortunately, the arts world also recently lost Beverly Sills, so I'm left with the Clintons, David Wright, Stephen Colbert and Paris Hilton. Just because. Oh, and the Italian 2006 World Cup soccer team...preferably in their underwear.

Music:

where to start...Beatles, DMB, BNL, Puccini, Rufus Wainright, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Counting Crows, Rachmaninoff, U2, Guster, Dispatch, Verdi, Morten Lauridsen, Fiona Apple, Missy Elliot, pretty much anything that encourages ass shaking
