Nori

Nori is from that new DJs generation which was born with the boom of the raves in the end of the 1990’s in Sao paulo. He first got in contact with the electronic music in the middle of 1998 and quickly identified himself with the techno style. As time went by, his passion for the music became stronger and he decided to play. In November of this same year he performed for the first time at Gaia For Freedom. Since then, he has performed at the main raves and techno clubs, such as SP Groove, Patrol, Techno for Mate, Spot, Pubtronic, Fuel Techno, Clash, Circuito, Bombator, H2O, Electrik Park, Spintronica, A Loca, Lov.e, Piranha, The One, Trump Club, Joana Dark, along with great national and international names like Dave The Drummer, Chris Liberator, Geezer, Ant, Julian Liberator, Darc Marc, Carl Hendriske, Tim Taylor, Marco Bailey, Rowland the Bastard, Joe Giacomet, Jeff Amadeus, Pet Duo, Murphy, Mara Bruiser, Renato Cohen , Camilo Rocha, Alex S, Renato Lopes, Snoop, BunnysIn 2002 Nori began to produce and ever since has not stopped enlarging his knowledge as a producer, and has taken several courses such as: Ableton Live, audio, the basics of acoustics, masterization, MIDI, mixing, Logic, Reason. Moreover, he participated in the production of 3 tracks of E.P Pricípios, released by the renowned DJ and producer Rush, under the label Knee Deep, with Pet Duo. Two years later, he created the label 340m/s along with DJ Pest and Augusto Merlin. In 2006, together with the DJs Ant and Gustavo, Nori released a track for the famous label Maximun Minimun and also created the track “Tunel Vision”, for More Punk Than Funk, along with the DJ and producer Joe Giacomett. In the same year, Nori was voted the author of the best live PA of Brazilian techno, by the users of the most important site of that music style in Brazil: "RRAURL" With the aim of transmitting the maximum of resonant quality and energy to the dance floor, his songs are produced with heavy beats, hypnotic synthesizers, outstanding basses and some vocals.
