Well, first and foremost, my name is Alan. I'm 26. I work at Home Depot as the department manager of the Special Services desk. I got my associates degree in May of 2009 from SVCC and am currently pursuing my bachelors in psychology at VCU in Richmond, VA. I love watching movies and listening to music, and all the other stuff that almost everyone has in their about me section.
2008 was really an eye-opener for me. I changed homes (twice), got a promotion at work, strained relationships that I regretfully say will probably never be the same, went back to school to advance myself, and have had various health issues. Some things I'm grateful for, and others I wish had never happened. Some relationships became deeper, some I lost altogether, and others have become so different I feel like I don't even know their lives anymore. Unfortunately, that is the way the world works. People come and go and move on whether you like it or not.
