Music is my passion. I started singing in Church choirs and later in School musical productions. I learned classical piano up to grade 5 and have been composing songs since the early 80's. I have had two different bands to perform my songs over the years, and played at Glastonbury Festival twice. I've been in other people's bands too on piano, sequencers and backing vocals and performed at Womad once. I'm lucky enough to know some very talented people in Bristol who have helped me record some new arrangements for my songs that I'm very proud of.
If I'm not composing, recording or performing then I love to film my musical friends. I love filming gigs but I also love filming ob doc style behind the scenes films and have made 7 feature length ob docs of the Jazz Stage at Glastonbury Festival from 1995 on. The highlight of my career so far was when Julien Temple chose to include my footage in his movie "Glastonbury" released in April 2006. I have many creative projects in various stages of development that mix my music ideas with my experience gained from 14 years in TV production. So I'd love to meet people who would like to record my songs or use my music in their films or who want me to film them.
