Marketa Foukalova

Markéta Foukalová (singer) was born in Prague in April, 1981. She has participated in many projects and in a number of bands of various styles (eg. Gang-ala-Basta, Yellow Family, Takin‘ Off, etc.). Marketa was invited to sing on many albums and for special events (Michal Prokop, Chinaski, B.S.P., Michal Pavlicek - Prague Spring, etc). These days she studies Vyssí Odborná skola Jaroslava Jezka (the College of Jazz Music in Prague) and she sings, in addition to Lanugo, in the jazz - pop - funk group MadFinger (winner of The Young Jazz Musician’s Competition in 2004 during The Philips Jazz Festival).
