The Devitos

About Me

The DEVITOS - "Deliver Us From Evil"
The Devitos represent a coming together of musically like-minded folk in the North East of England. Bar one of us, we've all played in bands before, recorded in studios, swam with the fishes and drank the wine. Ross Forster formerly of Marvellous and The Speeded Summer Band to name a few, Steve Broatch played lead guitar with the Vostoks, before settling down with the wholesome sound of the Banjo and Pedal Steel. Bob Webster played with Tonto's Horse, Eric Werndly still plays Bass with Barely Human, but brings the Upright Bass into our fold. Gav Bolton has been recording and creating for as long as he can remember and Lee Fraser who began his musicianship on the Organ before rekindling his passion for guitar with this band.
The DEVITOS are most at home creating and writing music based on our influences, creating and delivering our own niche here in Newcastle. Carving more from the rock face of Americana. Still British, but providing that link between what we exported centuries ago.
Constantly working on new tunes and trying covers for playing live. You'll probalby not hear the same set twice, but always hear the same sound !! The DEVITOS - Deliver Us From Evil
