Starting as a musician at the age of 12, playing the keyboards in a Death Metal band called SOULLESS ART,(Colombian band) from that time he starts to study hard in some music schools in Colombia to became one of the most important keyboardist in the Colombian heavy metal scene .
At the age of 13, he recorded his first professional Demo called ODA A LA LUNA .After 2 years he starts to think about music as a professional career and he decides to live in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA to finish his High School and to study Music in the University of arts in Miami.
After a couple of years he returned to Colombia to record his 2nd professional album with his brother Marcelo Cabezas (SOULLESS ART) owner. Soulless Art decides to call him again to record Soulless second album called (Chapter II) From that time he was recognized as one of the best keyboardist in the Colombian Heavy metal scene. He starts to play with other heavy metal bands such as the legendary band NEUROSIS INC, Without living his first band SOULLESS ART. He returned to America to live and finish his career.
2 years later he record his 3rd and final pro album called SHADOWS OF MODERNITY. He was not sure about his professional goals with the heavy metal scene. At the beginning of his career as a musician, he had an electronic music project called MKDNA, recording 2 pro songs in company with Jhon cadena (PURULENT,ETHEREAL,EVERMIND,IN LUST) vocalist. and from that time he starts to work in his own project that now is known as MIKELANGELO’S PROJECT.
After Working hard for years. MIKELANGELO’S PROJECT returned the studio during December 2006; this time in Silence Studios (Colombia) with Monica Garcia (walking on flowers song vocalist participant), in order to check how strong and honest was his music and also to prove himself his radical new techno trans music proposal advances. recording 2 songs WALKING ON FLOWERS and BLACK HOLE. The new samples sound let the music get a new perspective leaded by innovation and talent.
MIKELANGELO’S walking on flowers album is going to be out on 11/2008,finally walking on flowers its done.he mix and master in VELVET BASEMENT STUDIOS by Robert Dante,Robert Dante's credits include composing and producing soundtracks for such independent films as "Bloodline","The Painting Lesson" and "Little Things". He has also enjoyed working with a variety of internationally known artists such as Nas, Ray Ruiz, Salaam Remi(FUGEES), Faith Evans, Alfie Agius of the popular 80's band THE FIXX, Linda Cole in conjunction with the 2002 PBS JAZZ SERIES, Anthony Cole and Doug Matthews of THE SAM RIVERS BAND, Richard Bravo who plays percussion for the enormously successful RICKY MARTIN, and guitarist Pedro Navarro, who plays for latin sensation CHAYANE.
