About Me

RC Static has put Pittsburgh on the map as a center for modern rock. After several hometown headlining shows, featured spots on 105.9 The X, 102.5 WDVE, and 92.1 WPTS, and support slots for nationals such as The Used, Cartel, MxPx and Bayside to their credit, the boys used the Summer of 2008 to make a rock record.
Get What You Came For is a collection of 11 tracks full of sing along choruses and hard hitting breakdowns. The album's opening track "How About Now" is a testament to RC Static's ability to blend pop sensibilities with hard rock. "Matt lays it out pretty clearly in that song. We have a really diverse variety of influences but we have one common goal," says guitarist Eric Biel, speaking of band lyricist, producer, vocalist, and guitarist, Matt Rosemeier.
When taken as a whole, the album is a perfect showcase of what makes RC Static Pittburgh's most unique rock band. Bass guitarist, Donny Cortese, explicates, "We really pushed ourselves over the past two years to create the best possible record without any professional help."
