The Wisdom Trust is a charity registered in England and Wales. It was established in 2003 and is based at Caterham, on the Surrey/South London border. Full charity status was achieved in November 2005. Although still relatively new, we're already reaching out and making an impact around the world.
The Wisdom Trust’s sole charitable objective is to help create a wider awareness about the important issues facing the future of our planet; poverty, environment and health.
We offer a unique experience, allowing people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with charities worldwide, and enabling them to learn and contribute to our work whenever they can.
Just another charity???
We empower our members through access to education, fundraising and volunteer programmes that run at absolutely no cost to them, meaning that whether you have 5 minutes or 5 days, there is always something you can do to ‘make a difference’.
Largely, our ‘fundraising’ is supported by our members’ online activity, at no cost or inconvenience to themselves. We are committed to ensuring that all our members, regardless of age, background or circumstances, can support our work without ever needing to put their hands in their pockets.
We set aside up to 70% of our income for donations (decided by an online poll of all our members) to other charities, good causes, local community projects and other ‘not-for-profit’ organisations, to support their current work and to help expand their activities in the future. This might seem unrealistic, if we didn’t tell you that we have no paid staff, no fancy offices and no desire to change this!
Make a difference today.
By signing up at www.wisdomtrust.org and becoming a ‘friend of the Wisdom Trust’, you can learn about our mission and contribute to our work through your online activities. It's free to register and all you'll need is a valid email address. And remember, because we try to be different, membership of The Wisdom Trust will never mean you are obliged to commit your time or money to our cause.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

We're keen to meet and work with people of all ages and backgrounds, who'd like to help us make a difference in the world and improve the lives of people across all national, racial, ethnic or religious boundaries.

We're serious about our mission. We really believe that by working together, ordinary people can make a difference, and we aim to empower such people with the opportunity to contribute to our efforts. There’s no obligation to get involved, but we aim to make it so easy, you’ll have no real excuse not to! Already, within a few clicks, you too can be a part of our work.

Serious doesn’t mean dull - we also work to ensure our projects are fun, enjoyable and thoroughly rewarding. We will always strive to organise events that are open to all, and have people leaving with a smile on their face. We are happy to tailor events to suit individual groups, so if you have something in mind, let us know!

As a ‘friend of The Wisdom Trust’, you'll be able to raise money for charitable causes by simply being online - whether you're searching or shopping you can have an impact on hundreds of charities, good causes and other 'not-for-profit' organisations, all over the world.

We look after our friends, so as well as helping us fundraise, you can also nominate any non-profit organisation in the world to become eligible for our donations. You even have the power to impact their share of our donations fund, so make sure you sign up today and choose the charities you want to support.

You can sign up today at:- www.wisdomtrust.org .

DO A LITTLE - HELP A LOT!

Working together - globally or otherwise - is not easy. It takes a deeply shared vision, commitment, and a lot of communication: meaningful conversation about who we are, where we've come from, and what we are now called to do. Through conversation we expand our perspective and find the inspiration, commitment, and wisdom we need to move forward, together.

It is said that a few good men can make a difference. We believe that an army of good people can work miracles. So invite all your friends, family and colleagues to join our cause and let's start to work together right away to make the world a better place for everyone.

Working together effectively we can do so much more, and achieve bigger and better results. To us, networks aren't just about wires and cables - we believe in a true sense of connectivity and community. So creating more friendship, goodwill and understanding across all borders is right at the core of our mission.

GET INVOLVED TODAY

Get involved today. Sign up on the website and do a little bit every day. Start small, think big and make a difference - and come on a journey to wisdom with us. Then tell all your friends, family and colleagues to sign up so they can do the same. Oh, and finally, make sure your own favourite charity or good cause (whatever it is) is listed on our website so we can help you raise funds for that as well.

Remember, it's free to register and you'll only need an email address to do so.
