About Me

JuanCa del Valle

Hi everybody. My name is Juan Carlos del Valle. I'm a drummer/singer/songwriter from Rincón, Puerto Rico. I was born in San Juan in 1971. My passion is music. It all started at age 4, when I first saw The Beatles cartoons on TV. After that, then, well, that was it. I wanted to have a band, play rock n roll and all the things that come with it. Many years later, after rock bands left and right, playing shows in countries like Peru, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and the US, I am now the drummer and singer in my Beatles tribute band The Jukebox. Voted two times Best Beatles Tribute Band at the Chicago Beatlefest and being nominated for the Cavern Club Awards in Argentina, as well as succesful shows at the Abbey Road on The River Festival in Louisville Kentucky and shows all over Puerto Rico, The Jukebox put me back at the beginning.
It all started with the Beatles and now, it has come full circle. I think that's pretty cool. I also have a Door's tribute band called Riders on the Storm.

Here are a couple of tunes that I recorded with my former Rock en Español band, El Tren.

"Camino a Casa"
2002

Camino a Casa
¿De Dónde Vienes Tú?
Ataque al Corazón

"Gracias a Dios Por La Tele" 1999

Ella
No Digas Más
Siempre Tú

"Un Viaje Más" 1997

Aún No Sé
Perdido
Si Tuviese El Tiempo
Un Viaje Más

My Interests

Traveling, reading, religion, history, astronomy, video games, sports, my family (I love my girls), collecting Beatles stuff (Lp's, rare recordings, bootlegs, dvd's, cd's, books., etc.)

I'd like to meet:

Paul McCartney, Ringo, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, David Lee Roth, Cindy Crawford, Barbara Bermudo, J-lo, basically, anybody that can speak, read or write.

Music:

The Beatles, KISS, AC/DC, Van Halen (with David Lee Roth, although Sammy is awesome), Led Zeppelin, Guns & Roses, The Doors, Motley Crue, Kinks, Who, Hendrix, Stones, INXS, jeez, there's too many. Basically from 60's classic rock all the way to the 80's hard rock. Throw in some 80's pop like Duran Duran, INXS, Tears for Fears and some 70's funk like Sly & The Family Stone, Tower of Power and we're set.http://sl.glitter-graphics.net/pub/25/25430xglqj4k7qh.gi f

Movies:

Horror movies, but not monster horror movies. I mean paranormal stuff, things that you may think will happen in real life.Action thrillers, but not to Hollywoodish and fake. Basically, interesting movies. There are so many I can't come up with anything.

Television:

Real-caught-on-tape videos type shows. I love those. Boxing, UFC, wrestling Biographies History, documentaries

Books:

Any Beatles related book, biographies, religion but not Praise-The-Lord books, more like "Is God real?" kinda book.
