It isn't everyday that six seasoned local musicians bump into each other through other projects with the same passion for a band - a band that has influenced their playing and their approach to music. However, this was the case with the muscians in Gilmour's Breakfast. Each member of the band cites Pink Floyd as one of their favorite and most influential bands. It only seemed natural to work as a Pink Floyd tribute band paying homage to their childhood idols.
Gilmour's Breakfast is: Rob Taylor (Vocals), Ed Hannon (Keys, Sound Effects and Vocals), Bob Cooper (bass), Martin Stewart (Guitars & Vocals), Dan White (Guitars & Backing Vocals) and Pete Dayotas (Drums). Every musician brings years of experienced playing to the table.
The group has an established Pink Floyd and Gilmour's Breakfast fan base. Each live performance includes period musical gear, laser light shows, and intelligent/moving lighting. With a constantly revolving set list representing Pink Floyd from their earliest recorded effort (1967's Piper at the Gates of Dawn) through their final release (1994's The Division Bell), any die-hard Pink Floyd fan will be pleased to hear a few deep tracks while the casual listener will recognize plenty of FM hits. Gilmour's Breakfast is sure to please all listeners with their live performance.
